I first met Matt from Asset Construction Consultants following a fire at our flat. The property management company appointed him as Contract Administrator and he was presented with a block of flats, ours which was almost totally destroyed by fire and the others totally inhabitable from severe water damage.
Matt was the main point of contact for all of the rebuilding and refurbishment works, producing all of the plans and specifications, helping appoint the building contractor and managing all of the subsequent enquiries right through to completion.
In my opinion, Matt was given a very difficult job, juggling multiple clients, all with totally different specifications and requirements. He dealt with it excellently. I never doubted or had reason to argue with anything that Matt was involved with. He was always on hand to answer questions, either in person, over the phone or via email and remained prompt and professional throughout.
His attitude seemed to be to focus on achieving the best possible result rather than being purely financially driven, and he played a major part in reinstating what we had lost.
Since meeting Matt, I have sought his professional advice on several other projects and will happily continue to for the foreseeable future.
I have had experience of other Surveyors, engaged with property purchases. I found these through an online search agency and made my choice almost entirely based on cost, assuming that one property survey would be pretty much the same as the next. Regrettably things got missed and the resulting costs have far outweighed any initial savings that I made.
Asset Construction Consultants are not the cheapest company out there but they are by no means the most expensive either. Matt’s thorough approach is certainly worth every penny and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

He helped draw up a list of builders and to choose one. Finally he oversaw the build, although the builder was good so little was required.
